Scott Webster

Scott Webster is a Research Scientist at Coanda Research and Development Corporation since March 2012, where responsibilities include acting as technical lead and project manager on industrial research projects across various sectors. Prior experience encompasses roles as a Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia from 2002 to March 2012, focusing on crystalline film deposition and characterization for solid-state waveguide lasers, as well as serving as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate physics labs. Earlier positions include Research Assistant at Queen's University, where instrumentation for vacuum chambers was designed and biomaterial properties tested, and Solar Array Manager for the Solar Vehicle Team, contributing to the design of a high-efficiency solar array. Scott Webster holds a PhD in Physics and a MASc in Engineering Physics from The University of British Columbia, along with a BScE in Engineering Physics from Queen's University.
