Levi Hargrove has over 15 years of experience managing teams of scientists, engineers, clinicians, and students to enhance technology for individuals with disabilities. They currently serve as the Scientific Chair at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, where they oversee a research team focused on neural control systems for prosthetics, managing a grant portfolio exceeding $25 million. As a founding partner of Coapt, Levi has helped develop several FDA Class II cleared medical devices, significantly benefiting individuals with limb loss. Additionally, they hold the position of Associate Professor at Northwestern University, where they have trained over 20 PhD students and post-doctoral fellows. In 2021, Levi became Treasurer of Liberating Technologies, Inc. following its acquisition by Coapt to bolster research and engineering capabilities.
