Meagan Smith

Meagan Smith is a Senior Product Engineer at CoapTech, where they apply their expertise in biomedical engineering to innovative projects. They previously co-founded ARISE, conducting ethnographic research to develop a laparoscopic training platform in Kenya, and interned at Biogen, focusing on drug product compatibility. With a Master of Science in Bioengineering Innovation and Design from Johns Hopkins University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and Bioengineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Meagan has also held roles as a teaching assistant, helping students grasp complex biomechanical concepts. Their work interests include orthopedics and tissue engineering, demonstrated through various translational research projects.
