Murray Vitlich has held various positions throughout their career. Murray started their professional journey in 1992 at Wesfarmers Limited, where they worked in various positions until 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at UGL. Murray then joined Water Resources Group Limited as the Chief Executive Officer from 2008 to 2011. Murray Vitlich then moved on to Asciano, where they worked as the Director of Strategy and Business Development from 2012 to 2014, and later as the Director of Patrick from 2014 to 2016. Murray then worked at Seven Group Holdings as the Chief Operating Officer from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Murray serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Coates.
Murray Vitlich received a Certificate of Secondary Education from Wesley College in Perth from 1976 to 1981. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering at the Western Australia Institute of Technology, completing the first year by 1982. Murray later obtained a Bachelor of Business in Financial Management and Economics from the same institution in 1985.
