Tom Matthijs

Tom Matthijs is the Head of Legal and HR, as well as a member of the Executive Committee at Cobepa, where they oversee global legal, compliance, and HR responsibilities. Previously, Tom served as an Associate and later as a Local Partner at White & Case LLP, as well as a Principal Associate in Corporate & Finance at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Tom's early experience includes internships at the Permanent Mission of Belgium to the United Nations and Eubelius. They earned a Master of Laws from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and an LL.M. from the University of Chicago, followed by a postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
