Robert Bauerle is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in antenna and RF circuit design, currently serving as a Sr. Principal Engineer at Cobham since September 2014. Prior to this role, Robert worked at Harris Corp for over eleven years as an Electrical Engineer, where responsibilities included the design and testing of satellite communications equipment, developing advanced devices such as waveguide filters and phased arrays. Robert's career began at Lockheed Martin, focusing on antenna design for satellite communications payloads. Robert holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Penn State University, earned between 1986 and 1994. Proficient in various software design tools, Robert possesses expertise in TICRA, Ansys HFSS, Agilent ADS, and CST MicrowaveStudio, among others.
