Gary Foran

Gary Foran is an experienced security professional with a diverse background in law enforcement and risk management. Currently serving as the Security Administrator Team Lead at COCC since November 2019, Gary has progressed through various roles including Security Administrator II, Security Administrator, and Risk Management Consultant. Prior to this, Gary held multiple positions at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, including Police Officer and Training Sergeant/Firearms Instructor. Gary also served in the CT Army National Guard for over a decade, supervising the Force Protection Section, conducting vulnerability assessments, and instructing military police skills. Gary's foundational experience includes serving as Military Police in the US Army, where responsibilities involved supervising patrols and directing military police activities. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, earned from September 2019 to February 2023.
