Brett Swanson is a Principal Research Scientist at Cochlear, specializing in sound processing, stimulation, and perception with cochlear implants, as well as digital signal processing. Brett began their career as a Senior Design Engineer at Ausonics Pty Ltd from 1986 to 1991 before joining Cochlear in 1992. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from UNSW and a PhD in Otolaryngology from the University of Melbourne, completed in 2008.
