Heidi Slager

Heidi Slager is a clinical territory manager at Cochlear, having joined the company in April 2024. Prior to this role, Slager served as an audiologist and assistant director of the Cochlear Implant Program at Michigan Medicine from September 2010 to April 2024, where responsibilities included comprehensive cochlear implant evaluations, evidence-based hearing aid fittings, and oversight of clinical trials. Additionally, Slager coordinated significant studies such as the Evaluation of Revised Indications for cochlear implantation in the adult population, contributing to the expansion of Medicare coverage. Earlier experience includes an audiology externship at Oregon Health & Sciences University, focused on pediatric evaluations and diverse audiologic assessments. Slager earned a Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology from Western Michigan University.
