Jonathan Diolaso

Jonathan Diolaso is a Senior Biocompatibility Engineer at Cochlear since October 2017, specializing in the biological safety of cochlear implants and compliance with ISO 10993 standards. Jonathan coordinates biocompatibility activities aligned with product development, evaluates materials and manufacturing processes, and addresses material information gaps through research. Previously, Jonathan served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Cochlear, where expertise in design and testing for magnetic retention was applied, notably in the Nucleus Profile Plus Cochlear Implant. Prior experience includes a Network Planning Engineer role at SingTel Optus Pty Limited, where project delivery and network maintenance were key responsibilities, and a Student Manufacturing Engineer position at ResMed, which involved testing and process development. Jonathan earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronic Engineering from UNSW in 2012.
