Liza McKelvey

Liza McKelvey is an accomplished legal and human resources professional with extensive experience in the medical device industry and employment law. Since October 2011, Liza has held various leadership roles at Cochlear, including Vice President of People & Culture for EMEA and Latin America, where Liza has been instrumental in developing and executing corporate strategies as part of the Regional Executive Team. Liza previously served as General Counsel for the Americas at Cochlear and has held partner positions at reputable law firms such as Williams Weese Pepple & Ferguson and Jackson Lewis LLP, where Liza contributed significantly to developing employment practice groups and expanding client bases. Liza's legal career spans positions at various firms, including Faegre & Benson LLP and Qwest Communications, with a strong focus on corporate litigation and compliance. Liza holds a J.D. from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a B.A. in Political Science from Boston College, complemented by executive education from prestigious institutions such as Columbia Business School and Stanford GSB.
