Malcolm Wanstall

Mal Wanstall currently serves as VP of Data at Cochlear, where Mal leads the data strategy. Previously, Mal held significant positions at Westpac Group, including Head of Data Platforms for Consumer and Business Banks, overseeing over 1,000 professionals and transforming the organization into a data-driven entity through innovative data products and platforms. Mal's earlier experience includes leading data initiatives at The Smith Family, TAL Life, Medibank, Capiotech, Roche Diagnostics, CNH, and Cellix Systems. Mal completed a degree in Business with a focus on Information Systems and Computer Science at Western Sydney University.
