Martha Schley Smith

Martha Schley Smith currently serves as the Area Consumer Sales Manager for the East at Cochlear, where leadership is provided to a team of nine across 14 states and Canada since September 2018. In the role of Engagement Manager II for Virginia, DC, and Maryland, Martha received the Presidents Club award in 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Development at Comfort Zone Camp, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting bereaved children and families, and as Sales and Events Manager at the Virginia War Memorial Foundation. Additional roles in development and events include positions at The Library of Virginia Foundation, Thomas Jefferson Foundation, VCCA, Sweet Briar College, and the Virginia Department of Historic Resources. Martha holds a Bachelor's Degree in Art History and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Sweet Briar College, along with coursework from George Mason University.
