Melissa Rao

Melissa Rao is an experienced marketing professional with a diverse background in marketing communications and brand management. Currently serving as Marketing Communications Manager at Cochlear since November 2020, Melissa has previously held roles including Senior Marketing Communications Specialist and Professional Marketing Project Coordinator at the same company. Prior experience includes serving as Marketing Manager at Catholic Healthcare from July 2018 to July 2020 and Group Marketing Manager Retail ANZ at ResMed from June 2016 to February 2018. Melissa’s career began at Bauer Media Australia, where responsibilities included Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Assistant Brand Manager, and Research Analyst from September 2006 to May 2013. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Marketing from the University of Western Sydney, obtained between 2001 and 2003, and secondary education completed at Catherine McAuley from 1995 to 2000.
