Previously, Rob held various significant roles at Westpac Group from May 2002 to August 2023, including acting Group General Counsel and General Counsel for both Institutional & Customer Management and Regulatory affairs. Rob led teams ranging from 80 to over 250 legal professionals while managing complex customer litigation, regulatory investigations, and the firm’s responses to significant inquiries such as the Royal Commission into misconduct in the financial sector. Rob's earlier experience includes legal roles at Enron and Tarong Energy Corporation Limited, complemented by an extensive educational background with Master of Laws and dual Bachelor degrees in Laws and Business from Queensland University of Technology.
