Roger Leigh has extensive experience in the field of mechanical engineering and project management, currently serving as Senior Manager of Implants Mechanical at Cochlear Limited since 1994. During this time, Roger led the company's largest implant development project, culminating in a successful launch in 2009. Previous roles include physicist at KDG Mobrey, where Roger developed new transducers for pressure, level, and flow instrumentation, and research engineer at Penny & Giles, focusing on manufacturing efficiency for inductive position transducers. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from Macquarie University, an MBA from Southern Cross University, an MPhil in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton, and a BSc in Applied Physics from the University of Bath.
