Ruth Mortby is an experienced quality management professional with a strong background in engineering and quality assurance. Currently serving as the Director of Quality for EMEA at Cochlear since February 2018, Ruth previously held the role of Quality Manager EMEA at the same company. Prior experience includes positions such as Membership Officer - Corporate at The Chartered Quality Institute and Regional Quality Lead at Nuvia Limited. Ruth began her career at Babcock International Group as Business Support Manager (Quality) and worked as a Senior Quality Engineer and Quality Engineer at Renishaw. Ruth holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Engineering Design from the University of Bristol, obtained in 2006, following education at Alleyn's School.
