Sam Boeckx is a Wireless Research Engineer at Cochlear, a position held since February 2022. Concurrently, Sam is pursuing a PhD at KU Leuven's Faculty of Industrial Engineering since January 2022. Previous experience includes tutoring high school and university students in Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, and Programming at Studant vzw from August 2017 to September 2021, as well as serving as a Teaching Assistant at KU Leuven for courses related to Computers, Programming, and Electronic Circuits from September 2019 to June 2020. Additional roles include internships at Cochlear and VRT, where Sam worked on implantable magnetic induction antennas for cochlear implants and cloud applications for live video production, respectively. Sam holds an Advanced Master’s degree in Innovative Health Technology and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology with a focus on Electronics-ICT from KU Leuven.
