Sydney Veit

Sydney Veit is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Cochlear since September 2021, responsibilities include assisting with budget processes and coordinating variances with department owners. Previously, at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, Sydney played a key role in reconciling general ledger accounts and transitioning accounting software to SAP while managing a remote work setup during the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier experience includes positions at Applied Medical, where Sydney focused on fixed assets and tax administration, and internships that provided foundational skills in sustainability and engineering. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Business Economics with a minor in Accounting from UC Irvine and has also studied at Saddleback College.
