Tristan Ranee

Tristan Ranee is a Senior Electrical Design Engineer at Cochlear since May 2022, following a progression of roles in electrical engineering, including positions at Braingrade and Neurode. At UNSW, Tristan served as a Casual Academic, teaching courses in Digital Signal Processing, Analogue Electronics, and Design Proficiency, while also leading the Electrical Engineering team on the Neural Stimulator project. Previous experience includes an internship at Jenkins Engineering Defence Systems focused on signal processing and technical leadership roles at UNSW Illuminate. Tristan held a hardware product development internship at EMOTIV, where hardware testing and debugging were key responsibilities. Education credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UNSW.
