Xerxes Battiwalla

Xerxes Battiwalla is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in software development and innovation. Currently serving as the Director of Embedded Software Platform Development at Cochlear since November 2024, Xerxes previously held the position of Head of Technology and Innovation at Telstra Health from April 2023 to October 2024. Earlier roles include Director of R&D Software and Artificial Intelligence at both Bionic Vision Technologies and Bionic Vision Australia, and a significant tenure at Cochlear as Snr Manager of Technical Product Management and Solution Delivery, where initial responsibilities included building the next generation of clinical software tools. Xerxes has also contributed to the academic community as a tutor and guest lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney and has presented case studies at YOW! Conferences, showcasing integration of technology with customer and business needs. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Technology Sydney.
