Zachary Smith

Zachary Smith is an experienced professional in the field of auditory technology, currently serving as the Director of Implants & Electrodes in Global Strategic Marketing at Cochlear since April 2007, where responsibilities include global product management of the cochlear implant portfolio and leading the product management team. Previously, Zachary held various leadership roles at Cochlear, including Director of Algorithms & Applications and Program Manager, focusing on strategy implementation in global research portfolios. Academic positions include Adjoint Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Zachary's educational background includes a PhD in Health Sciences and Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, alongside a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a BA in Music from Brigham Young University.
