Rob Reid

Rob Reid is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as a Technical Evangelist at Cockroach Labs since February 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Lilium from September 2020 to February 2023, and Principal Engineer at LUSH Digital from November 2017 to September 2020, where Rob co-led an engineering team and oversaw team expansion. Rob's career encompasses a range of development positions across notable companies including NewVoiceMedia, Smartodds, Glencore, and Barclays Capital, specializing in C#, WPF, and software development in fields such as finance and digital media. Rob holds a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science from Kingston University, earned between 2005 and 2009.
