Timothy Sharp is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, and product management, particularly in the database and embedded system sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Engineer at Cockroach Labs since February 2022, Timothy has held key roles at various organizations, including Senior Sales Engineer at PlanetScale, and managing consulting and Managed Services at Percona. With a solid background of over 12 years in embedded systems and a deep understanding of technical challenges faced by clients, Timothy has contributed to numerous projects across industries, providing presales support, developing data mining tools, and demonstrating effective solutions to meet customer needs. Timothy holds a Bachelor's of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University at Buffalo and has completed graduate studies in physics at the University of Maryland.
