Zach Rash

Zach Rash is the co-founder and CEO of Coco, a company that delivers goods on UCLA’s campus using autonomous vehicles. Zach has also worked as an intern at Focal Systems, Inc., where they reviewed literature on deep learning / computer vision models to improve performance of their product. Zach also conducted experiments with data augmentation/pre-processing, model architectures, and algorithms to improve F1 of a core deep learning model from 79 to 89. In addition, they built production systems for deploying deep learning pipelines to clients and developed a deep learning library for Focal’s software engineers. Rash also built various critical infrastructure systems for handling core services and data.

Zach Rash attended the University of California, Los Angeles for their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Zach then attended the University of Southern California for their Master of Science in Computer Science. Finally, they attended Menlo-Atherton for their schooling.
