Devin Perry

Devin Perry has over five years of work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Test Engineer at CODAR Ocean Sensors, Ltd. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as an Electrical Sales Associate at The Home Depot, where they were responsible for helping open/close the warehouse, assisting customers with their needs in an efficient manner while providing excellent customer service, and advising customers on their future projects. Devin also operated machinery and provided shelf maintenance in multiple departments. From 2019 to 2021, they were a TA for the Control Systems & Biomechanics course at SFSU School of Engineering, where they graded work, tutored students, and provided problem solving techniques. Additionally, they were a 3D Printing Technician in Rapid Prototyping Lab, where they were a superuser and assisted with additive manufacturing and maintenance on the machines. In 2019, they were a part of the Bumpernickel Autonomous Battle Bot project, where they created a brain with eyes and ears for the robot and distributed power to each of the systems. Devin also worked on a Senior Design Project to create a system that allows a person to play against an AI program in Connect 4 using a physical game board. In 2018, they worked on a Low-Noise Headphone Amplifier project to understand microelectronics and PCB design. In 2017, they worked at Wilkey Sheet Metal Inc. as a Fabrication & Installation worker, where they prepped for sheet metal fabrication and installed ducting in almond processing facilities for air quality management. In 2016, they worked as a Veterinary Phlebotomist at the California Poultry Federation, where they tested commercial poultry for avian influenza to protect the US Poultry Industry.

Devin Perry attended Orestimba High from 2012 to 2015, graduating with a High School Diploma. Devin then attended San Francisco State University from 2015 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
