Alexander Preißner

Verification Engineer at Codasip

Alexander Preißner has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Alexander is currently working as a Verification Engineer at Codasip since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Analog Devices from March 2021 to June 2022 as an Application Engineer, focusing on the development of software, PCBs, and FPGA-based emulators for evaluation and validation purposes. Alexander also provided customer support during product design-in.

Before joining Analog Devices, Alexander worked at Lauterbach GmbH as a System Engineer from May 2019 to February 2021. Alexander was responsible for system engineering tasks during this period.

In their earlier roles, Alexander worked as an Embedded Systems Engineer at blik GmbH from October 2018 to April 2019. Alexander contributed to firmware development, test, and verification of blik RF and sensor modules. Alexander was also involved in the development of the blik Edge infrastructure and the CE certification of the blik load carrier tracking solution.

Prior to that, they worked as a Working Student in Embedded Systems Engineering & Software-Defined Radio at blik GmbH from April 2017 to July 2018. Alexander'sresponsibilities included the development, test, and verification of embedded firmware for blik's RF and sensor modules. Alexander also conducted research on the localization of RF modules in intralogistics and production facilities.

Alexander gained experience in FPGA design and test engineering as a Working Student at Linear Technology in 2015. Alexander'srole involved FPGA design development for a minimally invasive mixed-signal test bench.

In addition, they worked as a Student Trainee/Tutor at TU Munich - Institute for Data Processing. Alexander mentored students during tutorials and provided support in programming exercises. Alexander held this position from April to July 2014 and also from November 2012 to January 2013.

Alexander also completed an internship in FPGA Design at MEN Mikro Elektronik from February to April 2014. Additionally, they gained experience in device evaluation and testing of electrical characteristics as a Student Trainee in development at Linear Technology in March to April 2013.

Alexander Preißner earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik from the Technical University of Munich, which they completed from 2011 to 2016. During this time, they also received an Honors Degree of LMU and TUM in Technologiemanagement from the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) from 2013 to 2016. In 2014, they studied at École de technologie supérieure for a brief period, focusing on Génie électrique. Continuing their education, Alexander Preißner then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Technical University of Munich from 2016 to 2018. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Tutorenschulung der Fakultät für Elektro- und Informationstechnik (LDV) from the Carl von Linde-Akademie in November 2012 and a DELF B2 (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Francaise) from the Institut français in November 2010.
