Athanasios Grassos

Athanasios Grassos is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in chip design and implementation. Currently serving as Chip Design Lead at Lemurian Labs since August 2022, Athanasios previously held the position of Senior Application Engineer at Imagination Technologies, where engagement with RTL development for next-gen high-end GPU IP was a primary focus. Experience includes roles as an Independent Contractor in Physical IC design, and Senior Physical Design Engineer at u-blox. Athanasios has also contributed to the physical implementation group at ARM and the backend implementation team at Broadcom, along with earlier roles at Imagination Technologies that involved hardware design and customer-centric technical support. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mathematics from Birkbeck, University of London, and diplomas in Electronics Design and Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Glasgow and the University of Patras, respectively.
