Jan Matyáš

Jan Matyáš has work experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Codasip since March 2018. In this role, they work on the development of Codasip Studio, a specialized tool for rapid development of processors. Prior to that, they worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at Honeywell from September 2013 to February 2018. In this role, they were responsible for developing connectivity firmware for three generations of Honeywell connected thermostats.

Jan Matyáš obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Vysoké učení technické v Brně, starting in 2008 and ending in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they pursued their master's degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Computer & Embedded Systems at the same institution, Vysoké učení technické v Brně. In 2013, they participated in an international study exchange program at Lappeenranta University of Technology. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Design for Six Sigma - Green Belt certification in May 2014, and the Czech Electrotechnical Qualification ("Vyhláška 50, §6") in December 2019. Jan also achieved the Cambrdige ESOL CAE Grade A - C2 in English certification in August 2011 from the University of Cambridge.
