Tim Hutt

Tim Hutt has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Tim is currently working as a Senior Verification Engineer at Codasip since January 2023. Prior to this, Tim worked at Graphcore from 2017 to 2022, where they held multiple roles. Tim started as a Software Developer, working on the core SDK - Poplar, involving C++ and assembly programming. Later, they transitioned to working on the Graph Analyser, a GUI debugging tool using Rust and Typescript. During their time at Graphcore, Tim also worked as a Verification Engineer, focusing on the verification of the SoC for the next generation of Graphcore's IPUs. Tim used techniques such as TLM using a system similar to UVM and formal verification using SVA. Before joining Graphcore, Tim worked as an SDK Developer at Ultrahaptics from January 2017 to October 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Engineer at Dyson from 2013 to 2016, and as a Research Assistant at Imperial College London from 2008 to 2011.

Tim Hutt completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge between 2003 and 2007. Following this, from 2007 to 2012, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London.
