Martijn Tiemersma has a diverse work experience. Martijn is currently the Strategy Director at code d'azur since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Typeform as a Senior Brand Studio Strategy Manager from 2019 to 2022, where they also held the role of Creative Manager from 2020 to 2021 and Senior Creative Strategist from 2019 to 2020. Before joining Typeform, they worked at Momkai as a Senior Strategist from 2015 to 2019. Martijn also has experience at DigitasLBi Netherlands as a Strategist from 2012 to 2015, Advance as a Creative / Strategist from 2010 to 2012, and QNH Interactive as a Creative / Strategist from 2008 to 2010. Martijn worked as an E-Commerce Coördinator a.i. at T-Mobile Nederland from 2008 to 2009 and as an Internet Marketeer at TMG (Telegraaf Media Groep) from 2007 to 2008. Martijn started their career as a Strategy intern at Clockwork B.V. in 2007 and also worked as a Marketing intern at Satellite Marketing / The Communication Company in 2005.
Martijn Tiemersma completed their Bachelor's degree in International Media & Entertainment Management at Breda University of Applied Sciences from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Willem van Oranje College from 1997 to 2003, where they pursued a VWO degree with a focus on Economy and Society.
In addition to their formal education, Martijn has also obtained several certifications, including "User Research – Methods and Best Practices" from The Interaction Design Foundation (obtained in 2021), "Leading teams in the digital age" from Hyper Island (obtained in 2020), and "Business English Course C1/C2" from The Square Mile (obtained in 2015).
