Casey Agena

Casey Agena is the current advisor at Code For Fun. Prior to that, they worked as a technology coordinator for the Santa Clara County Office of Education, where they helped implement the STEAM Initiative. Before that, they were a regional learning partner and program manager for the Silicon Valley Education Foundation with Code.org.

Dr. Casey Agena received their Ed.D. in Education Leadership from the University of Southern California. Casey also holds an M.Ed. in Education Administration from Boston College and a B.A. in Education from Purdue University. Dr. Agena is certified by the California Department of Education in Multi-tiered System of Supports: A Comprehensive Framework for Implementing the CA CCSS, Hawaii Teacher Standards Board in Hawaii Department of Education - Provisional License, Washington State Office of the Governor in Teaching License-Standard, and California Department of Education in Teaching Certificate, California.
