Paula Hotea

Paula Hotea has extensive experience in communication and marketing, having served in various roles across prominent companies. At the Romanian Cultural Institute from November 2018 to January 2020, Paula was the Head of Communication for the EUROPALIA International Art Festival. Previously, as Client Service Director at Saatchi & Saatchi (October 2000 - December 2007), Paula developed communication strategies for clients. Paula also worked as a Brand Manager at Coty Cosmetics (July 1999 - September 2000) and as Group Account Director at Graffiti BBDO (January 1994 - June 1999), where Paula coordinated strategies for major brands. Currently, Paula is the Owner of fallen mermaid, focusing on fundraising for cultural events, and has recently taken on the role of Director of Business Development at Code for Romania. Paula holds a Master of Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from Bucharest National University of Arts and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from Politechnical Institute Bucharest.
