Niklas Henrich is a technology executive with over a decade of experience in the industry. Niklas is currently the Chief Technical Officer at Code Intelligence, a software company that specializes in code analysis and documentation. Prior to their current role, Niklas served as the first Engineering Director at LeanIX, a software company that provides tools to help enterprises manage their IT architecture. Niklas was responsible for laid the groundwork for LeanIX's rapid growth by introducing hiring processes yielding top talent and forming a mindset of smart customer focused solutions. Niklas was also a relentless advocate of autonomous teams and fully automated CI/CD pipelines resulting in daily releases of new features for customers.
Before joining LeanIX, Niklas worked as a system architect at ZF Group, a global automotive supplier. Niklas was responsible for designing the basis for a driver assistance system used in the context of autonomous driving.
Niklas began their career as a researcher and project lead at rmh new media GmbH, where they worked on the AVIGLE project, a state-funded research project that aimed to create a swarm of autonomous flying drones which could reconstruct a virtual model of a city hit by a natural disaster. The virtual model would allow first responders to efficiently navigate to the most critical areas.
Niklas Henrich has a Dr. rer. nat. in Informatik from the University of Koblenz and Landau, as well as a Dipl. Inform. in Computervisualistik from the same school.
