Ayon Basumallik

Ayon Basumallik is currently the SVP of Engineering and Product at Code Metal, where they focus on using AI to enhance programming for edge platforms. Previously, Ayon served as Vice President of Software Engineering and Machine Learning at Lightmatter, where they led software architecture for advanced deep neural network applications. Ayon has held significant roles at MathWorks, including Principal Software Engineer, where they developed the execution engine for MATLAB and built a team dedicated to compiler engineering. Ayon's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Purdue University and a B.Tech(Hons) in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
