Juliane Phan is a dedicated Coding Instructor at Code Ninjas, teaching coding and STEM topics to children while providing constructive feedback and fostering communication with parents. As a Machine Learning Fellow at AI4Good Lab, Juliane collaborated on developing an AI-powered focus detection tool, conducting extensive research on eye and facial cues, and implementing a machine learning model. Additionally, Juliane served as a Web Developer for iGEM, designing and building a responsive web application and implementing reusable UI components. Juliane is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Alberta, expected to graduate in 2027.
