James Cunningham has over two decades of experience in education, currently serving as a Computer Science Teacher at Wind River High School since August 2002. In this role, James has developed a diverse computer science curriculum for grades 6-12 that encompasses various disciplines such as animation, game design, app development, and robotics. Additionally, James provides technology training for over 50 staff members and plays an integral role in the development of the school’s virtual learning program and technology policies. Since July 2017, James has also worked as a Code.org CSD & CSF Facilitator, guiding K-12 teachers in building confidence and skills to teach computer science effectively. James holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and Teaching from Texas Tech University and degrees in Elementary Education from the University of Wyoming.
