Parisa Tabriz

Parisa Tabriz is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Code.org since August 2024 and as Vice President and General Manager of Google Chrome since February 2007. Tabriz oversees a large, globally distributed team focused on the development and security of Google Chrome, the leading web browser. Prior roles at Google include Senior Director and Director of Engineering for Chrome, Engineering Manager for Chrome Security, and multiple positions within Information Security Engineering, where Tabriz significantly enhanced product security. Tabriz also served as a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations and as a Consultant for the United States Digital Service, advising on security best practices. Tabriz holds both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
