Brian Willard is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in security, privacy, and software development. Currently serving as the Uber TL for Risk Platforms and Security Privacy Tech Lead/Manager at Google since March 2012, Brian manages teams focused on data portability and retention. Additionally, Brian contributes to the growth of Code Platoon as a Board Member. Prior to Google, Brian worked as a programmer at BBR Trading, where full stack .NET development for equity options trading was performed, and at Cerrio, where a real-time SaaS platform using Node.js and socket technology was developed. Earlier experiences include roles at Quantitative Risk Management and Microsoft as an SDET. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
