Chad Mowbray

Chad Mowbray is a data engineer with extensive experience in both technical and instructional roles. Currently employed at Phrase Health since August 2022, Chad previously held positions at SemanticBits, where ETL pipelines were developed using Scala Spark and AWS EMR, and at Motorola Solutions, focusing on CI/CD pipelines and authentication solutions. As a web development instructor at Code Platoon, Chad has taught full-stack development and created a cybersecurity module. Furthermore, as a digital pedagogy fellow at the University of Chicago, Chad facilitated workshops for professors on technology integration. Chad's academic background includes a PhD program in Arabic Literature and Digital Humanities at the University of Chicago, and a Master's degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from Princeton University. Experience as an Arabic linguist in the US Army also underscores Chad’s diverse skill set.
