David Carrillo, CFPS, currently works as a Project Manager and Consultant at Code Red Consultants since February 2021. Previously, David held the title of Designer at Associated Fire Protection from July 2018 to January 2021. From May 2016 to August 2017, David worked as an Engineering Intern at the same company, where David assisted with project file organization, cleaned up AutoCAD drawings, and performed hydraulic calculations using hydraulic calculation software. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of New Haven in 2018.

The engineers at Code Red Consultants have experience providing professional consultation services for a range of clients including owners, architects, engineers, and contractors on projects with construction costs ranging in size between $1 million and $1.5 billion. Code Red Consultants is made up of consultants that are licensed Professional Fire Protection Engineers having a Master of Science degrees in Fire Protection Engineering. Having a specialized knowledge in fire science, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of building and fire codes, we offer a consulting experience that provides performance-based solutions in a world of prescriptive codes. From master planning through construction, our goal is to provide innovative and intelligent code compliance options that give our clients the information necessary to make informed design decisions.
