Alexander Asay is a software engineer intern at WelSpot since June 2023, where responsibilities include developing and maintaining a Loan Request RESTful API microservice with Java Spring Boot and integrating various finance APIs. In addition, Alexander has been a coding instructor at Code With Us since July 2020, teaching K-12 students programming languages and designing project-based curricula. Previously, Alexander gained experience as a Unity VR programming intern at The Verse, creating interactive features in C# for a digital wellbeing project, and as a backend intern at Cisco, developing a RESTful backend for the Mindmeld AI platform. Alexander is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology, following a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from San Jose State University.
