Matt Flagg

Matt Flagg currently serves as the Chief Science Officer at Code19 Racing, which participated in the inaugural Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League race in April 2024. With extensive experience in computer vision and technology, Matt has founded and held executive positions at various companies, including PlayVision Labs as CTO and Co-Founder, and Flagg Visual Computing LLC as an Autonomous Racing League Race Engineer and Consultant. Prior roles include Computer Vision Research Engineer at TAAZ, Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, and Chief Technology Officer at PlayMotion, among others. Matt holds a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and has contributed to significant projects, including an Academy Award-winning system at Industrial Light & Magic.
