Sofia De Haro Macias is a computer science undergraduate at The University of Texas at El Paso, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Currently, Sofia serves as a Mathematics Tutor, providing personalized support to middle school students. Recently, Sofia interned at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, where they researched and analyzed court hearing observations and translated content from Spanish to English. Additionally, Sofia holds the position of Director of Engineering for the Miner Mentorship Program, leading efforts in recruitment and mentorship. As a Code2040 Fellow, Sofia continues to develop skills in the intersection of technology, law, and cyber security.
