Stepan Riha

Stepan Riha is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as a Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Google since October 2019, Stepan has also contributed as a volunteer at Code2College, aiding high school students in software education since September 2021. As a Co-Founder and Principal Software Engineer at BallotBoxOnline LLC since 2003, Stepan oversees the secure online poll service's design and implementation, transitioning it to scalable solutions on Amazon Services. Previously, Stepan was a Principal Software Engineer at Spanning Cloud Apps, focusing on cloud backup services, and held senior roles at @hand Corporation, leading development teams and innovating mobile application frameworks. Early career experience includes software development for National Instruments, specifically on LabVIEW software. Stepan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
