Junior Napier has worked in a variety of roles in the IT industry since 2008. Junior began their career at CodeReady Solutions as Director of Email Delivery & Marketing, where they designed, implemented, and maintained the company's email delivery infrastructure, email marketing CRM software, and Infrastructure systems. Junior then moved to Georgia Gwinnett College as a Software Developer in 2011, where they were responsible for managing the migration project of the College's Enterprise Portal from Blackboard to Liferay Portal. In 2014, they joined Ipswitch Network Management as a Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, where they designed, tested, documented, and maintained software artifacts and design patterns. In 2016, they worked as a Senior NodeJS Engineer at ADP and a Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead at CBS Corporation. In 2017, they became a Lead Software Engineer at NCR Corporation. In 2018, they joined Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineering Manager and Program Manager, Senior Architect. In 2022, they took on roles as Director of Software Development at Varec, Inc (a Leidos company) and Vice President of Information Technology at CodeBlox.

Junior Napier's education history includes a High School degree from Dinthill Technical High School, obtained between 1981 and 1986, a BSc in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas, obtained between 1998 and 2000, and an MSc in Computer Science from Kennesaw State University, obtained between 2006 and 2008.
