Aidan Smith is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud consulting and database administration. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud and Platform Consultant at Codec Ireland since March 2016, Aidan specializes in delivering infrastructure solutions across Microsoft Azure, SQL, Windows Virtual Desktop, Office 365, and Dynamics 365, focusing on both on-premises and cloud implementations. Prior to this role, Aidan spent over a decade at Vulcan Solutions as a Build Manager and Senior Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer, overseeing application builds and release management. Aidan's career began with positions in desktop support and helpdesk assistance at AIB Capital Markets and GE Capital Woodchester Bank, following an academic background in Information Technology from NUI Galway and the Technological University of the Shannon.
