Ruta Almedom

Ruta Almedom, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Science at CodeCheck since February 2019. Prior to this role, Ruta Almedom spent over a decade at Procter & Gamble in various positions, including Senior Scientist leading R&D initiatives in Hair Care, Oral Care, and Baby Care across IMEA and CEEMEA. Responsibilities included consumer understanding, product portfolio design, and leading disruptive market innovations. Earlier experience includes research positions at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Cancer Research UK, and Novartis, focusing on neurobiology, cancer research, and transplantation. Ruta Almedom completed a PhD in Biochemistry at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University and holds a Diploma in Biology with a specialization in Human Genetics from Goethe University Frankfurt.
