Bailey Shimp

Bailey Shimp is an experienced educator currently serving as an Elementary Curriculum Developer at CodeHS since July 2024. Previously, Bailey worked as an Elementary School Teacher at Marquardt School District 15 from August 2021 to July 2024, where responsibilities included designing learning progressions, analyzing assessment data for individualized instruction, achieving notable student growth scores, and collaborating with colleagues on innovative teaching strategies, all while emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Prior to this role, Bailey was a Long Term Substitute Teacher at Glenview Public School District 34 in early 2021. Bailey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Iowa.
