Carlos Tapia

Carlos Tapia has extensive experience in the engineering field, particularly in electrical and instrumentation roles. Currently serving as Jefe Senior de Puesta en Marcha at CODELCO since November 2010, Carlos has previously held positions such as Jefe de Puesta en Marcha and Ingeniero de Construcción Senior within the same company. Prior to CODELCO, Carlos worked at SIGMA SA as Ingeniero SCADA - Lider Puesta en Marcha, and at IMA Industrial as Jefe de Turno Eléctrico - Instrumentación. Additional experience includes roles at ABB and El Tesoro. Carlos holds a degree in Ingeniero Civil Industrial from Universidad de Aconcagua and an Ingeniero de Ejecución Industrial, with a specialization in Control Automático from Universidad de Viña del Mar.
